Privacy Policy
Gildongmu works without an account and does not store personal data in any database of its own.
How data is used
Your current location is used only to look up nearby places, transit, and directions in real time, and is not stored. It may appear temporarily in server infrastructure request logs while a request is processed.
In AI chat, your questions, the conversation, the place you are viewing, and your current location are sent to Google Gemini to generate answers. Questions that need a web search are also sent to Perplexity. Answers are AI-generated and may be inaccurate.
Search terms are sent to search providers such as Kakao and Naver, and to Perplexity web search only when there are no place or address results.
Dictation in the iOS app is processed on your device, so audio never leaves it. Dictation on the web sends audio to Deepgram for transcription and does not store it afterwards.
In the iOS app, the step count shown when you arrive with walking guidance and the body weight you enter in Settings are used only on your device; they are never transmitted or stored.
Business hours shown in place details are looked up by sending the place name, coordinates, and road address to Google Places. Your current location is not sent.
If you use Gildongmu's tools through an AI agent browser that supports WebMCP, the tool output is sent to that agent's provider. What is sent: your search query and results (place names, addresses, phone numbers), place information (a station's first and last trains, facilities, real-time arrivals, barrier-free facilities), and for directions the origin, destination and via names, the route summary and guidance sentences. Coordinates are never sent, but this information can reveal your location and movements. This works only when Gildongmu is opened in an AI agent browser that supports WebMCP. It does nothing in a regular browser, and there is no separate setting inside Gildongmu.
Web traffic is measured anonymously with Vercel Analytics. It uses no cookies and stores no information that identifies you.
